CARHA Hockey World Cup - 2022

Latest news

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, CARHA Hockey is announcing that it will be postponing the CARHA Hockey World Cup in Richmond, British Columbia to 2022. The Event will now be hosted from

March 27th to April 3rd, 2022.

You can read more on our official announcement here.

The safety of our participants and the enjoyment of the Event is of the utmost importance to us which is why we have chosen to take this step. Ultimately we want all of our participants to be able to take advantage of everything the community of Richmond has to offer, and to be able to celebrate the sport of hockey together. Our goal is for participants to be able to have the same on-ice experience as always and to enjoy the social activities such as the Opening Ceremonies, Closing Ceremonies and Athletes’ Village that have become such an integral part of the Event. As this would not currently be possible we truly feel this decision is the best one to make for our teams.

We want to thank everyone that has kept their registration with us for the 2021 dates and hope that you continue to stick with us for 2022! If your team would like to remain with us for the new dates we will happily hold your spot for you. If your team was unable to make the 2021 dates but is interested in the 2022 dates please reach out to me to discuss further.

We hope that everyone is continuing to stay safe and that you’re able to get back on the ice soon if you haven’t already!

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and commitment to the CARHA Hockey World Cup.
